Studio Moore’s design interest, is focused on both the functionality of spaces and the ways in which we interact with and inhabit them.

This extends to our daily rituals + patterns, how architecture + interiors can enhance our wellbeing, and how atmosphere can provide retreat from the outside world.

The studio’s work leans itself towards the ‘less is more’ philosophy - and over time has grown more and more to value the handcrafted elements and making process of a project.

Andrea Moore

2006 - 1st class Hons, Bachelor of Interior Design, Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia.

2002 - Diploma of Arts, Visual Merchandising, RMIT, Melbourne, Australia.

Andrea is an Interior Designer with a keen eye for architectural design and space making. She firstly studied visual merchandising before going on to graduate with first class honours in a Bachelor of Interior Design.

Through the work of her practice of 14 years, Studio Moore – and in particular her accommodation project in South-Gippsland, Ross Farm – she has become a sort of researcher of objects, forever interested in material culture and the origins of craft.

In 2024 she launches a new online project Afield.co. Afield emerges from the discoveries of her own design fieldwork; seeking, sourcing and celebrating well-crafted objects from near and far.

Andrea will continue to moonlight on Interior Architecture projects that resonate, one project at a time.
